Mid-Utica Neighborhood Preservation Corporation Announces Search for Next Executive Director
Organization Begins Search for Permanent Leader as Interim Executive Director Hilda M. Jordan Concludes Her Service
UTICA, NY – The Mid-Utica Neighborhood Preservation Corporation (MUNPC) has begun its search for a permanent Executive Director to lead the organization’s next chapter.
The Executive Director will oversee MUNPC’s operations, staff, finances, fundraising, board coordination, community partnerships, and programming for youth, seniors, and Cornhill residents. The role will also support MUNPC’s continued involvement in the Cornhill Revitalization Initiative, including work connected to the Empowerment Center and forthcoming West Street Impact Center.
The search is supported by the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties. MUNPC is currently in the fourth year of a five-year, $300,000 capacity-building grant from the Community Foundation that supports executive leadership, organizational growth, and MUNPC’s long-term role in the Cornhill Revitalization Initiative.

Jordan has chosen to conclude her service as Interim Executive Director, and the Board thanks her for her leadership, dedication, and longstanding service to MUNPC,” said Kevin Alexander, MUNPC Board Chair. “We wish her the very best in her future endeavors and look forward to building upon the foundation established during this period of transition.”
Jordan previously served as MUNPC Board Chair before stepping into the Interim Executive Director role to provide leadership and operational continuity.
